When Should I Plan to Arrive/Depart?
When Should I Arrive?
The event starts on May 23rd at 9:00 AM, but breakfast is at 7:30 AM. You will want to arrive no later than the evening of the 22nd.
Check-in will be on the evening of the 22nd from 4:00-9:00 PM and the morning of the 23rd at 7:30-8:00 AM at Mountain River Ranch.
When Should I Depart?
The event will end late on the evening of May 25th, and check out is the morning of May 26th by 11:00 AM. Please schedule your time so you don't leave until the event is over. You won't want to miss at thing! If you decide to leave the night of the 25th, that is up to you, but we will most likely be eating together, soaking in the hot springs, or doing some other fun networking activity.
Where Should I Fly Into?
Airport Information
We recommend flying into Idaho Falls (IDA). It is by far the closest airport to our location.
Do I Need to Rent a Car? Or Is There an Uber?
This destination is an experience and one you will not forget. It's going to be EPIC, but not necessarily easy, as far as travel goes 🙂
Therefore, it's about a 35-40 minute drive from the airport. You may be able to get an Uber, but you may need some transportation once you get there to go back and forth from where you are staying to the venue. If you elect to stay on property, you will have the opportunity to check in the evening of the 22nd.
For those of you attending, we will create a chat group or some way for all attendees to talk back and forth in case you want to work out carpools and all that fun stuff! Plus it's super fun to stay connected and in the hype of everything that is going down!
What is the Deal with the Cabins? And How Do I Book One?
Yee-haw! This is where it's going to get a little fun!
There are several cabin locations right next to and close to Mountain River Ranch. You will notice that this is a true 'glamping' experience at a true campsite and many don't have bathrooms in them; however there are some very nice shared bathrooms/showers on site. *This means you will need to bring your own towel, soap, and shower shoes!!**
We recommend finding someone who is coming to the event and sharing a room with them if you can. We will NOT be spending a great deal of time in these rooms, so keep in mind they really are just for sleeping and getting ready in the morning! There are extremely limited cabins available, so the more we can fit into them, the better for everyone!
*If you choose to stay in a cabin we will mark you down as having a room! You can also look at other nearby AirBnb options or you can always opt to stay in Rigby or Idaho Falls at a hotel and drive to and from every day (but it won't be nearly as much fun!)*
What's the Agenda?
Be prepared to immerse yourself fully in this event!
This is *not* a hyped-up event where everyone gets on stage and tells you all about the great things they are doing ... and you walk away motivated, but with no tactics or strategies or help for where you are at.
This event is 8 AM - 9 PM on May 23rd-25th. Yes, we go into the night cooking s'mores and hanging around campfires!
Our Agenda is announced hour-by-hour. This is a high-speed networking, high-performance business + transformational event - just come and experience it. Our theme this year is Profit, Power, Purpose and Positive Impact. We want to help you accelerate your breakthroughs to not just a wealthier, but a happier and healthier, purpose-driven lifestyle.
Our events are second to none because of the PEOPLE who attend, but also because we are adamant about creating unforgettable EXPERIENCES.
Are Meals Covered?
We will be pleased and honored to cover all breakfasts, all lunches, and two dinners. You will only be required to buy one dinner, and that will be one evening where we go off-site to eat.
*We will do our best to have some light snacks and drinks when you arrive for check-in on the evening of the 22nd; however, we will not be providing dinner that night. There is a pizza parlour really close to the Ranch where you can get a pizza or salad! Otherwise, you will want to make sure you have dinner before you drive out!
If you know you are going to want to snack on some particular items in-between meals, please bring your own. We will do our best to provide some snacks as well, but we will be in the mountains and a quick run to the grocery store is not a quick run!
Can I Record the Event?
You are welcome to do some short social media posts, but not record full speeches or speakers. We will offer recordings. This is an EXPERIENCE that you need to be fully present for, and we recognize some of the business tactics, strategies, and speakers will want to be revisited in order to fully implement.
How Do the Hot Seat Presentations Work?
You have the opportunity to present your business to all of the I Do Epic LIVE attendees... but not to pitch anything. You are not coming to sell your products or services. This will most likely happen on its own as you network, but it's not part of the presentation.
Each main attendee gets 20 minutes to present. You are welcome to do a 'give back' for the first 5 minutes if you feel like you have learned something or know something that will help other attendees and would like to share it. The rest of the time is yours to present your business model and express any challenges or struggles that you need help with. Again, this is not the time to go into who you are and/or your life story or the epiphany bridge or origin story! You have got to be laser-focused on what you need help with and get right to it!
Everyone will then have remaining time to give you verbal feedback. We will also have cards that everyone can write on and pass to you in case there wasn't quite enough time to share.
Is There a Dress Code?
Casual! You are welcome to attend in jeans, t-shirts, hoodies OR you can step it up a little with business casual if you would like to. Keep in mind we are in the mountains, so dresses, dress shoes, and/or heels probably aren't too ideal.
PRO TIP: We'll keep things as comfortable as possible, but be prepared with layers. You can always take a jacket or two off! But if you don't have one at all, it may get a little chilly.
PRO TIP #2: Idaho weather is completely unpredictable. Yes, we have had snow in JULY! Being prepared with warm clothes - even if it's only one warm outfit - is the best thing you can do. Coats/jackets at night and in the mornings are a MUST. Most venues stay a little on the cooler side, so layers are always a good idea! Bring a blanket if you are prone to get cold!
What Kind of Activities Should I Plan For?
We will be heading to some natural hot springs at least once while we are there! So for sure bring a swimsuit. Towels can be rented for about $.50 if you don't want to bring one with you, but no guarantees on how great of quality they are!
Other potential activities:
- Hiking (A very mild, easy hike. Just tennis shoes should be fine)
- Golfing
- Paddle Boarding
- Horseback Riding
- Sitting around campfires and roasting s'mores
- Good all around comfy clothes for hanging out and networking after the mastermind is over for the day
Can My Spouse and Kids Come?
Absolutely! We love spouses and kiddo's!
Really the only requirement we have is that kids do not come to the mastermind meetings. They are more than welcome to come to after hours activities. If you have any further questions, just let us know.
How Close is West Yellowstone, Montana and Jackson Hole, Wyoming?
Close! If you have the time and resources, we recommend adding one or both of these places to your trip!
West Yellowstone is a 2 hour drive from our location, and Jackson Hole is a little less than 2 hours away; however, if you take a trip to one, you're only about 45 minutes away from the other. If you have never been to either of these places, they are worth the drive.
Yellowstone feels like a world all in and of itself - almost Jurassic-like in it's hot pots, geysers, and unique colors and landscape. Buffalo, moose, bears, elk, and many more wildlife are also regularly spotted (PRO TIP: Do not ever try to get up close to take a photo or pet a wild animal. It will not end well for you). The Park opens with limited access right about the time our event starts, so be sure to check the website and plan accordingly if you do choose to go.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming has a unique, western feel but is also very high class. Billionaires have moved in and made this location their home. The views are breathtaking and there are plenty of outdoorsy things to do, such as whitewater rafting, skiing, hiking, visiting elk farms, and more!
